Invitation from Henschel Business Services
Do You Know Your Stuff? Love Bookkeeping but not your current job or struggling to grow your own bookkeeping business?
Henschel Business Services is expanding and looking to add more bookkeepers to our team. We would like to invite you to an information session on June 18th or July 9th from 11:30am to 1:30pm at our office. Lunch will be provided.
You’ll learn about our structured, supportive team environment. Bookkeepers at HBS get to be bookkeepers – we have a receptionist, bill collector, IT consultant, document collector, and marketing guru. We’ll explain our compensation, company paid benefits, paid sick days, signing bonus, and flexible work hours.
I hope you can attend. Please RSVP to: [email protected] or 613-738-3003 ext. 237.

HBS Gives Back to the Community
At this time of year, we’d normally be sending out Christmas cards or an invitation to our Annual Open House, but this year we’ve decided to do something a little bit different in the true spirit of the holiday season.
Please visit us on Wednesday, December 19th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at St. Laurent Shopping Centre, where we are supporting OCAPDD (Ottawa Carleton Association for Persons with Developmental Disabilities) by volunteering in their Christmas Gift Wrap program.
Bring along your gift packages and for a small fee we’ll wrap and top them with a bow! You’ll have beautifully wrapped presents, all money goes to provide OCAPDD clients with a Christmas gift, and you’ll have the opportunity to meet some of the HBS staff – win, win, win!
OCAPDD was founded in 1956 and was previously known as the Ottawa & District Association for the Mentally Retarded. OCAPDD provides support to hundreds of persons with developmental disabilities, in every aspect of life – whether seeking work opportunities, securing living arrangements or dealing with day-to-day tasks. Since fully a third of OCAPDD’s clients are also affected by physical disabilities and other medical considerations, the scope of the organization’s support is in direct response to level of need. OCAPDD also manages the operation of several residential and day programs, supporting individuals living either in family settings or independently.
Unfortunately, the United Way no longer supports OCAPDD, so they need our help to keep these programs going.
